Wheels Through Time!

This shoot was fun. I chose to travel with an old Nikon D5000 and a 50mm AI-S (film) lens. Using this lens and body combo resulted in having to use the camera in full manual mode with no light meter. It was a ton of work and double checking to make sure I had the exposure correct. As well as nailing the manual focus but it sure was a blast! I could spend 3 days shooting here and not feel like I did it justice! If you find yourself in Western North Carolina you need to stop by!

Thanks to Matt (& John Dills) and the crew at Dale's Wheels Through Time for letting me in the back shop to create some amazing captures! It was great to catch up and long over due! Hope to see you guys again on my NC trip this year!
