Self Portrait

This was a fun one in my machine shop (yes I dabble in many things…). This was shot with a manual focus film lens. As you can imagine it took a bit of creativity to find the focus, pose etc. This was my first time doing a self portrait in this manner. I found it to be a fun exorcise, and could be a powerful practice tool if trying to learn portrait skills at your own pace. Go out and try to take one for yourself!
